Mr Stock Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Hi all Here is my latest build, for some reason this one has taken me 8 months to build on and off ! Its the Revell 57 Chevy Bel Air Sedan, its a great kit to build and I enjoyed putting this one together, I didnt go overboard on the engine details perhaps I should try and add more, the black paint tested my patience not an easy color to get looking right !. Comments welcome Thanks
StevenGuthmiller Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Nice work Gary! You can't go wrong with basic black! I agree, black can be a real bear to get right. Looks like you did well. Steve

Gene. no this kit went together very well, the only issue I had was with the chrome spears on top of the rear fenders, next time I will strip the chrome of these glue them to the bare shell first and then BMF them afterwards, they are not easy to glue on after the body has been painted. But it was a great kit, Id happily build another
Sixties Sam Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Very nice! Great finish and foil work! Those 57's look good in black! Sam
