DRIPTROIT 71 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Here is the last model that I've finished this year. It is a 1/25 scale White 9000. I started with a Road Boss kit. The hood is a Back Yard Shed from Saurkraut. The engine is a 6-71 Detroit from Spaulding. The tanks are from Saurkraut. There are several scratch built parts. Decals are from modeltruckin.com. It's not perfect, but I enjoyed building it.
Old Buckaroo Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Brian, glad to see you found this forum. I have enjoyed all your trucks you have posted over at Hanks ! Very nice work on the White - the short hoods always looked really tough to me , and nothing better then spoke wheels . (on a model truck )
Harry P. Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Beautiful work! Very realistic. You got some skillz, man...
Kenny B Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Brian, Nice old White. Nice weathering not over done. Looks really good. Ken.
gatorincebu Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Real nice jobon the modifications! That tractor brings back memorires of driving one like that back in the early 70's. Had a driptroit and duplex tranny. Be Well Gator
Petetrucker07 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Cool build, nice subtle weathering. Looks great.
Superpeterbilt Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Welcome to the forum. I caught this build over on Hanks forum. Great job.
towman1271 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 That thing just has a mean look to it..Great looking unit
kilrathy10 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 This "less than perfect" build is astounding....I'm thinking you're ok with this one....Looks dog gone good, to me.....
EaglePassNative Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Excellent build. I love those resin conversions.
Plastheniker Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Brian, a very unusual and carefully done model. I have never seen this cab before. I am happy each time a see a modeler daring to build anything else than the usual AMT or Italeri kits.
