Brent Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) Built this back in 2007. Entered it into The Western Canadian Regional contest and took Best truck over all. It found its way into the Great Scale Modeling 2007 Magazine. My daughter and I were both at the contest. She took home best Junior model with her Herbie the Love bug VW beetle. We were across the fold in the magazine. One of those moments you will always cherish and never forget. This build was inspired by the rear tires on the sprayer. Had them sitting around, had no clue where they came from. Accidentally found that they fit a big rig rim perfectly. Found a toy monster truck and used those tires for the front tires. Scratch built sprayer. Plumbed and wired everything I could. First time ever weathering a model. Went for the dusty look. Edited June 3, 2015 by Brent

Jim B Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Excellent job. Looks like something that would spray liquid fertilizer or insecticides; but not manure. Very cool!
