GeeBee Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Finally got this one finished, painted in the original Trabant shade of Champagne beige, imported from what would have been East Germany when the Trabant was in production, sadly I found out after I had the paint delivered that Champagne beige is the same colour as RAL 1024.
Daddyfink Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Nice build of a very rare and exotic machine! And champagne gold, real fancy!
Tom Geiger Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Very nice Geoff! I watched the whole time you were working on it. I need to get back to my postal van.
Harry P. Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 What a neat little model! Too cool! And very nice photos, too.
GeeBee Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Very well done. Engine pics? Thanks, this photo's were taking with my smartphone, and were only for my website, they don't look good when there enlarged, when I get round to re-taking the photo's with a proper camera, I will do some of the engine bay.
