Shelby 427 1965 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I seem to be slower at getting things Under Glass... This is Tamiya's 1998 WRC model kit converted to a road going version. Mods: - Hood Pins removed - Seats, steering wheel, gear shifter and handbrake from Tamiya's Lancer Evo VI - Aerial slots on roof removed - Wheels from the parts box - Gran Turismo number plate Colour is Tamiya Mica Blue. I noticed after pics the indicator fell off.. and now I can't find it so ignore that please. Also ignore the alignment of the wheels, it's fine, it's just the way it's sitting on the uneven terrain.

hgbben Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Always had a soft spot for these. Yours looks great.
Twokidsnosleep Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Such a great colour combo on these cars, a favourite of mine as well......you did a fine job on ALL of them!!!
PatW Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Nice looking scoobies Tomo. The Prodrive factory is about 20 miles from here so we saw quite a few of the various prototypes, camo'd up of course! I've built a few of these kits, but got fed up with the blue so did one in satin black! The decals show up particularly well too!
Shelby 427 1965 Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 Thank you everyone, really appreciate the comments!
