James2 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Greg's poll made me think of Patriotic models. If you have a Red White and Blue model you built, post'em here...
MrObsessive Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 LOVE that AMX Snake! I owned a '69, but not a red, white and blue one. Those were real TERRORS on the strip!
Greg Myers Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Wow ! James, really start off with a great build and Snake's no slouch.
Drake69 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) I want to be able to afford one of these kits in 1:25 scale soooo bad!!!! Edited July 2, 2015 by Drake69
Mooneyzs Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 John...Ok my big brother.... I love that streamliner and well the other one too. And as usual it's at my favorite picture taking spot.
Snake45 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I want to be able to afford one of these kits in 1:25 scale soooo bad!!!! Rent a time machine and go back to about 1985 or so. They--and many other JoHan kits--were rotting on hobby shop shelves back then.
Lordmodelbuilder Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Here are a couple of red white and blue models I built.
Snake45 Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Somewhere I read a story of a GI returning from Vietnam who special-ordered a '69 Camaro either in blue with red interior or the other way around, and a white vinyl top. And the factory built it for him that way. I would LOVE to see a photo of that car.

1320wayne Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 And I forgot about the change that I'm working on on the dually pickup from above.
DeeCee Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Here is something from the other end of the world.. 1/12 57'
Tom Geiger Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Rent a time machine and go back to about 1985 or so. They--and many other JoHan kits--were rotting on hobby shop shelves back then. Around 1990 I was at a hobby shop picking up gift certificates they donated to our show. The owner had me follow him to a back room and I spied 6 Johan '62 Studebaker convertible kits on a shelf. I inquired and was told that those were old junk nobody wanted. I wound up buying them for $1 each.
Nitrozilla Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Since my hobby room currently IS an unbuilt model, at least I can still contribute with a previously built one:
