I want to be able to afford one of these kits in 1:25 scale soooo bad!!!! :(

Rent a time machine and go back to about 1985 or so. They--and many other JoHan kits--were rotting on hobby shop shelves back then.

Somewhere I read a story of a GI returning from Vietnam who special-ordered a '69 Camaro either in blue with red interior or the other way around, and a white vinyl top. And the factory built it for him that way. I would LOVE to see a photo of that car.

Around 1990 I was at a hobby shop picking up gift certificates they donated to our show. The owner had me follow him to a back room and I spied 6 Johan '62 Studebaker convertible kits on a shelf. I inquired and was told that those were old junk nobody wanted. I wound up buying them for $1 each.
