Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 This is just Revell's snapper kit, I found it in a drawer ages ago and decided to give it a new lease of life. So I gave it a quick spray and some detail painting on the interior. Just wanted it off my bench, but I'm calling it done for now... Some things weren't on it when I got it, like the headlight lenses and the chrome for the mirrors but I'm not that bothered really. I'll probably paint the grilles eventually. Thanks for lookin'
PatW Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Well done Tommo, I bought one about 18 months ago, I think it took me all of a day to clip it together. It's a pity they didn't bring out a detailed one.
christian-w Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 This is an interesting model kit. Did forget that it even exists. Well done!
Harry P. Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Very nicely done. BTW... who is the girl in your avatar? She's mighty easy on the eyes...
SCI-FI Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) Appears to be Sophie Ellis Bextor, according to Tin Eye:http://tineye.com/search/151042f530b60d1f8c4e29a0ba6dff42b9384809/?pluginver= Edited July 18, 2015 by SCI-FI
Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 Thanks for the comments everyone! I know it could certainly be better with more effort but as said, it'll do for a shelf model, and it filled in time between my current major build which shall be finished up in a few days @Harry - As said, it's Sophie Ellis-Bextor, my favourite singer, and yes, she's very easy on the eye indeed.. She was my last icon also: Along side being the inspiration for my previous "big build", Wanderlust. Thanks again!!
Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 Sigh, yes, that song that everyone has to bring up when I say I'm a fan...
dublin boy Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Sorry Tomo, I couldn't help it. She's seems nice from any interviews I've seen on TV.
Shelby 427 1965 Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 Hahah, she's perfection with a capital P!
Danno Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Nice model . . . nicer avatar! Easy on the eyes, indeed!
