Well, not to be support but I've had no issues on Nexus pad/phone, various iPad/iPhone, various Macs, Linux.

Just ensure your browsers are up to date.

Although personally stay away from Firefox v39 and keep at 38 but thats just me.

Other then that the site simply works.

Do the norm, clear your browser cache etc...

A little link to help you do this with various browsers;

Hmm. Then perhaps the new site doesn't support my old Safari browser on iMac any more, unlike everyplace else on the face of the Internet. I can't upgrade without spending a few hundred dollars that I don't have.

Preview works if you hover over the topic/thread

Yes, I LOVE that mouse-over-topic feature, saves a lot of time, a positive change. However that's not what I'm referring to...

When I make a post and add photos I like to see what the entry will look like and be sure all my linked Photobucket photos show up correctly before I hit "submit." On the old system we could click on "options" that allowed us to preview our entry before submitting. If someone can confirm that's still there then I'll see if my Safari is hiding it from me.

X 2. EXACTLY what I've been asking about and for the same reasons.

If you are running 10.6, you are indeed out of luck w/Safari unfortuantly and many sites present and future.

No more support or updates from crApple.

I'd suggest Chrome or Firefox as they'll run on 10.6

Works Great on the iPhone 6 no problems, although can't seem to down load  pic for avatar ?

2 questions, is there no longer a list of users online? Also, what about our friends list?

I have 10.4, which still works with most sites. Except here.

Yes, I have the same 2 questions as those were items I used frequently. I've also noticed some stating how pretty it looks but I find it dull greyish not at all clear like the last version. My Safari browser is completely up to date so I'm not sure how this is better as it is harder to read and dull to look at. But I guess if it's working better for others and it's attracting younger folk then it is good.

Found the online user thing, click on more, top right. Still wonder about the friends list however.

Not by me. I like that feature as well.

Yep, there it is. But it used to a nice little list at the bottom of the main page, I could see at a glance if my friends were online. Now I have to go through 6 pages of members to see who's online at the moment? Again, I don't mean to be complaining but I don't see how that is an improvement.

Here is my take. You get what you pay for, and this is a free forum.

That being said, personally I am not a fan of the changes. On my PC with Windows 7 it isn't TOO bad, but on my Droid Turbo it does not work anywhere near as good as the old version.

I am probably going to give up using my phone to access the forum, but as long as nothing else comes up I will stay here on the PC.

I've been playing around with it on my Galaxy phone. I'm getting used to it. It's just gonna take some time. Like everything in life, no matter how much we may not like it, change is inevitable. I don't mind it's not mobile friendly. I like that I can zoom. We will get used to it, then when it changes again, we won't like it. I will probably never use the chat feature. I have faith that Gregg will get this straightened out, the best he can.

Are posts not being numbered a nitpick?

I hadn't noticed that, but you're right--it's not there. That's a handy feature once in a great while when you want to refer back to something.

Chat room seems to have a limit of only 5 simultaneous users..can that be upped?

Chat room also seems to have a limit of 3 as well

Sorry, there is a problem

The chat room limit has been reached. You will not be able to join the chat room until some users first leave.

Gregg... this may be another dumb question but how do you delete message in your inbox now. I don't see where you can, but maybe I didn't find that button...

You can do a mass deletion, but I haven't yet been able to determine how to delete specific messages.

Have we lost the ability to lock our own threads? I take it we can no longer embed videos either....

Seems to work OK.

Where is the area that in the old forum showed topics you had replied  to??

I'd vote no if I had a say....

It's now referred to as my activity.

Is there a way to turn off a specific signature permanently? At present, I seem to have to turn off that specific signature in every thread in which that member has posted.

Thanks,

Hi,

There is prolly a good reason you stayed at 10.4 but if you can run it, you can prolly run 10.6 and 10.6 can run the latest Chrome/Forefox.

I can try and get you 10.6 if you like.

Its not a matter of if, but when you will slowly be unable to use your browser due to site updates.

One can't make a new responsive style site capatable with older browsers like what you have.

Anyways, just throwing that out there as 10.6 was a pretty solid OS.

Well, up til now I had no issues on any of my devices.

I tried putting TAGS in and can only put 4 tags in. It will not update the post giving the notice shown below. I have tried it on IE, Chrome and Firefox, all up to date.   The line reads "Enter at least 5 tags, and up to 4 tags"  and does not make sense to me.  Am I missing something?

Also I noticed the search does not allow search of a certain section. That makes it just about useless. "FIXED"

It seems to work for me, albeit with the usual limitations.

Thanks, I see that now. When I tried it earlier it didn't have the "This Forum" like the old one had.
