Thanks guys. John, the taillights and panel are from the Dobberton Pontiac. The tops of the rear fenders and trunk lid are from an '87 Thunderbird. The rolled pan is from the corner of a trailer that was put in the pile of usable styrene. Originally, this was the car that was meant to have my scratchbuilt Offy engine. We'll see what I decide for power later.

What a neat concept.You picked a great project and one that is certainly deserves to be finished.Thanks for excavating it and sharing with us!

Very nice, and don't feel like you have to replicate the drawings. I get the impression that you have ideas of your own that are at least as good.

BTW, by coincidence I recently found and re-read that very issue of Hot Rod. They were right on the money in some of their predictions, others were absolutely hilarious to read almost 30 years later!

Thanks again guys. The body is the 1/24 scale Monogram kit Robert. The wheels and tires are from Monogram ZR1 Corvette. I planned on drilling out the centres, and use '32 Ford caps.
