jdhog Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I'm plugging along on this little 50 Ford truck. I love this kit. At first I was thinking about using some Pegasus wheels for this one, but I have changed my mind. The paint is Createx Sky Blue. Tamiya Clear.
slusher Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 That is looking sweet. Did the wheel covers come in the kit???

wayne swayze Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Nice looking truck! I like your choice of wheels. That's a great kit too!
jdhog Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 I have made a little progress over the last few days. I have the BMF done and I made a bed mat out of an old CD case.
jdhog Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 the bed mat is a cool idea.. Thank you. It is made out of one of those black plastic DVD cases like this one:
mustang1989 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 First off that's a clean build you've got going there JD!Secondly , thanks for that great idea concerning the bed mat. I'm considering that idea for use with my 56.
Sixties Sam Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Looking good! I like the color, and the bed mat idea is very creative! That DVD case material would probably work well for a tonneau bed cover, too.Sam
gatorincebu Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 That is a sweet looking build. The color is great. The wheels and tires look good. The bed mat is a great idea. Hellfire.... I like it!!!! Be Well Gator
Aaronw Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 These are great kits, my only gripe being I wish they left the stock engine parts in the kit.I like style you are building, very mild custom on the outside with a little something extra under the hood.
