Here's my recently completed AMT 1/25 1965 Buick Riv. I chopped it, laid the pillars back and blocked it out flat. Wired the engine, and cut my own velocity stacks out of brass ferrules. Used the obligatory "clear" steering wheel with this one. BMF on the rockers, rattle can flat black on the body. Fun build but probably wouldn't chop this agressively next time.

This generation Riviera is SO good looking and well-proportioned, it's almost impossible to improve on.

My hat is off to you, sir. You made it better. Your chop proportions and pillar layback angle are absolutely perfect.B)

Your words are music to my ears. Thank you. I took on this build with trepidation, because as you said it's a beautiful car, and if I had fouled it with a poor chop I would have been very disappointed. I had feared I had gone a bit too heavy on the chop, but you've reassured me!
