exesivefire Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 Nice. Are you using the cutter for the brackets?no, old fashioned way for me
62pyro Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Andy, Do you recall which size rod ends those are? They look like they'd be great for some projects.

exesivefire Posted September 16, 2015 Author Posted September 16, 2015 Made up a quick radiator to mount between the frame rails. Need to mount it still, and decide what side I want to put the fan on.
62pyro Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Thanks for the info.I'm liking this more with each update.
Stef Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I'm so loving this build. This is the thread that inspired me to get back into modelling after a 12-year hiatus.Entranced to see where this ends up.
RyanK Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Your 32 is looking fantastic. You have got some mad plastic fabrication skills. There is something about raw plastic mock up that is just so apealing to me. Almost makes me want to build a model just without the paint. Thanks for the inspiration.

I think that's why a lot of my builds stall at that point.
RyanK Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 By the way, how do you keep your parts together in the raw? Do you use some type of glue that will come off easy when you get ready to paint?

Impalow Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Are we really down to a week on these? this weekend is gonna be fun..
exesivefire Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 Well a week left, a bit discouraged on the timeline but I'm pressing through. braced that suicide mount and mounted headlights. shot some primer on the main bits, hopefully cleanup is minimal and I can start painting soon
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Looking good. Hoping you get it done. If not I would suggest you still take it. Lots of nice work.
Tom Geiger Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Lotza fun! I like that you use straight pins for assembly, I do the same thing!
Dennis Lacy Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This is one of the most fantastic '32 5-Window based projects that I've seen in a long time. The engine set back into the cowl just works and with the car slung low and engine stacked high looks wicked as hell! The chassis fabrication, both in form and function is outstanding. Keeping pushing hard, man, it's gonna be worth it!
62pyro Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Everything is just flowing together.I have faith you can do it.
exesivefire Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Thanks guys, got the frame and engine painted, got the main parts of the engine assembled and an little bit of weathering on it.
1930fordpickup Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Wow How did I miss this for so long. Nice work on another one Andy.
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Looking good. The frame and engine look great.
jeff f Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 What a cool build ! Love the cowl work , I've see it on 30-31s before. A 5 " chop and its out of the park .Jeff.
