Ace-Garageguy Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Couldn't quite decide if the build theme was "hot-rod" or "Mad Max", eh wot?Yuck.
Snake45 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I really like it from the front edge of the hood back. Everything forward of that is whack--I'd have to replace all that with something more standard/traditional.
Draggon Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Looks like its got a frame from a pickup truck, or something like that. Weirdness under the headers, and those parallel leaf springs on the front have got to go.
charlie8575 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 What a screwball header. I'm trying to figure out what engine that is. Almost looks like a Nailhead given how vertical the valve cover is.Charlie Larkin
Jantrix Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Could that be an old roundy round dirt track chassis or something?

Harry P. Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Call me crazy but I think it's kinda cool...
Jon Haigwood Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Everybody has their own idea of "cool" but for me that ain't it. Looks like some kind of racing setup. as for the video, 17 minutes of street cars revving up is a bit BORING.
Greg Myers Posted September 22, 2015 Author Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) Yep, sorry. Just to put it in perspective, from whence it came, so to speak. Edited September 22, 2015 by Greg Myers
JTalmage Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) The valvecovers and the placement of the alternator, along with the spacing of the header primaries tell me it's a late model Ford 302. Probably from a fox mustang due to the aluminum valvecovers with the passenger side fill tube. Edited September 22, 2015 by JTalmage
bismarck Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I'd buy it for the body shell and part the rest out...
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I'd buy it for the body shell and part the rest out... I'll take the engine.
bismarck Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 i'd have the body, that's about it. get a set of 32 rails, nail head buick, maybe a flathead... Big-n- little wide whites on steelies...... HHMMMM..... Off to the stash!!
dartman Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 If you look at the front of the header, you will see it is part of a drive shaft.....
Mike Kucaba Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Call me crazy but I think it's kinda cool...Your crazy!
