I knew someone who owned one of the early Ford Transit Connects that were sold here in the USA. He had no idea it was made in Turkey, which is a pretty interesting thing. Here we were poised and worried about cars coming in from China or India and Turkey sneaks in unnoticed. The new version is made in Spain, another country where we wouldn't think cars would be imported here from. The window sticker is a bit sneaky... it just lists "Valencia".
