peekay Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Excellent transformation, looks totally natural.
72 Charger Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 They should of built them . I like it a lot . Well done
StevenGuthmiller Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 That's pretty cool!And a very nice conversion job!Nice work! Steve
Crazy Ed Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Great Build, and the inside is as nice as the outside. Imagine back in '62, 3 if one of those existed. Keep a Hay Bale in the back for traction and cover. Racing, ME Officer? Heck no, I'm just on my way home to feed the Horses..............
Reeves Racing Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Looks like it came from the factory. Nice work.
Mike Kucaba Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Nice ! I think I'll put this on my next resin purchase.
DrKerry Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Good to see you made it turn out so nice!!! When I did this conversion it was done with the basics in mind but the extra detail you put it was well worth it...
RancheroSteve Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 When I did this conversion it was done with the basics in mind but the extra detail you put it was well worth it...Thanks to everyone for the compliments. Like most of my builds, there are a few things I wish had turned out slightly better (that's what keeps us going, right?), but overall I'm pretty pleased with this one. And I got it done in near record time (for me anyway).DrKerry, thanks for providing the inspirational basis for a very enjoyable build!
wayne swayze Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Excellent transformation, looks totally natural. I agree. That looks really good.....and natural.
DrKerry Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Thank you for making it look so good and to Jimmy Flintstone for casting it!!!!
Harry P. Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Very nicely done. Well thought out and very well executed. I have a problem with the out-of-scale metalflake paint (and of course, no mirrors whatsoever... ), but otherwise... very cool.
RancheroSteve Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 Thanks Harry, but just to respond: there is an inside rear view mirror (hard to see in the photos, maybe) and I think part of the out-of-scale flake effect might be due to the Tamiya pearl clear on top of the DupliColor paint, but so noted.
Harry P. Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Steve... I missed the inside mirror, my mistake. Nice model regardless.
James2 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Very well done conversion. Nice body work and believable styling. I do agree on the paint, but that is a sticky point for me. "Scale Apperance"
