53 Vette Paperbag Contest Build

Here we go again for our clubs annual Paper Bag contest. This years surprise was AMT's 53 Vette and the random color was black. I started on this on Monday, so I took my time on this one I used MV's for all my lights. I know it needs mirrors, anything else?

Very interesting and very nice! I'd tuck the wheels in to where they're just flush with the body, but otherwise, this might be my favorite build of this kit I've ever seen!

I won't lie to you & tell you I like the interior color, but otherwise, it's kind of neat!

As far as the interior goes, I just think that bright green has been way over done in the modeling world over the past few years. JMO.

Nice one for a quick build. Only thing it needs is license tags, that is always the finishing touch on mine.

Thank you for the nice comments. I added the mirrors and rear license plate. The wheels I got at the NNL East last year and I'll ask Tom Geiger tomorrow night who the vendor was and I'll post it here. The vendor make some of the best wheel and tire packages on the market and come various colors and styles.

I agree on tucking the wheels into the wheel openings. As it sits now, the car would have zero suspension travel and couldn't be steered.

Those wheels/tires look like some Steve Zimmerman sets that I saw in Sylvania last weekend-he does nice stuff.
