maltsr Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Just completed this build after a slight mishap with the paint/foil during final assembly (ahem) . Lowered all round and the rear wheel wells were tubbed slightly to clear the Pegasus wheels/tyres. Otherwise built out of box, including the supercharger parts. Paint is Tamiya rattle can, Forest Green and Champagne Gold. I deliberately omitted the headlight housing extensions because I don't like the 'bug-eyed' look of the stock vehicle.
maltsr Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 Looks great..can we see the front end? Here you go, Mike

Againmikewins Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I've been looking at this kit at a couple shops. This kind of makes me want to buy one. I've got three of Amt Fairlane 500 kits. I LOVE the '57 Fords!
jeffs396 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Ooooh, TASTY! I really like the headlight treatment, been thinking of doing something similar when I build one...
Dominik Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 what toi say, when all is said? Beautiful! really nice Colors and wheels.

High octane Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Very nice build on that Del Rio, and great color selection. I had to "pass" on buyin' that kit as I have too many projects already. Besides I'm waitin' on the '57 Ford Ranchero kit.
gtx6970 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Love it,,,,,,,,,Probaly my favorite version I've seen of this kit yet.I have a similar idea in mind for when I do one . And I like the idea of pushing the headlights back into the fenders
