Antikainen Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 So this one is a Polar Lights 1/25 snap kit built as a box stock model. Body was " chromed " by manufacturer so all I had to do was to spray it with Tamiya flat clear and to do some fine sanding. Otherwise this was a quick two day- built. Thanks for looking!
Daddyfink Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Very nice! Now, can we get it up to 88 mph?
thatz4u Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Great Scott Marty, we don't need any roads!! nice!! in this year or any other!!
Antikainen Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Thank you all!Been planning to build an AMT version next. It's molded in grey and in the past I tried to replicate stailess steel finish on it with testors steel but it didn't work.Maybe it would be best to apply bmf to body surfaces and then carefully sand it... What do you think?
NYNS Franky Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 That really turned out nice for a 2 day snap kit! I have been thinking about doing one, and this may be the kit for me! Thanks for sharing and great work!
Dennis Lacy Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Very cool! And very nicely done. This has always been my favorite version of the car. I always thought the Mr. Fusion thing on the back looked hokey.
kruleworld Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Fabulous time machine buildI always thought the Mr. Fusion thing on the back looked hokey.Mr fusion is made from a coffee grinder. you can also see one in Alien (part of the ship wall equipment).
Greg Pugh Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 That's impressive! Especially for a two day build!
