crazyjim Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Here's the latest that started as the Don Nicholson kit. I did some modifications and used HOK pink pearl with cherry pearl in the hood and truck panels. Then some water drops went on before clearing.
wayne swayze Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Cool mild custom Jim! Paint looks good too.
MGL Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 That water drop effect is cool, I've never seen how thats done. I want to try that on a van I'm going to do.
Miatatom Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Great job! The first car I ever bought was a 61 Impala 2DHT. Still my favorite old Chevy.
cobraman Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Looks great Jim. I gotta try that water drop trick. Oh. nice interior by the way. : )
snacktruck67 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I am super imlpressed. That is one gorgeous hunk of an interior. I can never come close to that with my handicapped hands.
DeeCee Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I like that, perfect stance and a beautiful color in the sunlight.
Cardz Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 very cool looking custom you got there, nicely done!
W-409 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Hey you're not supposed to tease us like that, I already got very interested when reading the topic title as I'm building Don's Super Stocker too. But actually that looks very good like that as well! Color fits surprisingly well to this body and I like your panel paint job too. Plus that it's always nice to see a 409 Big Block under the hood. Great work Jim.
