This is the old Academy kit of the Hyundai Stellar. I lowered it a bit, because if built box-stock the thing sits like a 4x4, left out the electric motor and all its assorted witchcraft, and used Revell Dunlop tires wrapped around AMT Parts Pack wheels.

happy to see a 'neighbor'  car Hyundai here .

the rust made the car looks kind of wild:o good job.

I don't know, Chuck. I think you missed the mark. I don't think it's rusty enough for an early Hyundai. :lol: Seriously it's a great build.

I havent seen one of those in years!, and I certainly didnt relalise they did a kit of one.

Great Job Chuck, you've nailed that old beater look, they used to use these as taxis over here in the UK back in the 80s/90s, Im pretty sure the suspension and drivetrain (apart from the engine) were based on the old Ford Cortina Mk5 parts.

I was going to say that it looks like it's factory fresh! Nice job on the weathering.

Yes, Hyundai built the Cortina and the (UK version) Granada under license, then when Cortina production ceased, they used Cortina technology under this new bodyshape in the Stellar.
