It turned out ok, I think. Coming up with a grill that I could mangle was a challenge. 

My first try at making headlight lenses worked great!

Basically, I dragged my Exacto knife across it in a pattern i thought a broken windshield should look like. I wasn't really happy with it at first, but when I added the crumpled parts, it seemed to fit.

Really looks authentic Mike. The way you "diamonded" the hood looks so real. How much time did it take to build this? Amazing piece! Hope nobody was hurt! Denny

That looks really good, now you just need a diorama to go with it

I've got a '67 GTO that I've been thinking about doing the same to, but with a side impact instead of frontal.

I like it very much, it looks very convincing :)

All we need now is a diorama of the accident scene, with a cop car and maybe an ambulance and also a towtruck and some figures of police men and some curious bystanders.
