Porscheman Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 This is another one of my 1 day builds. This is a reissue by Model King of MPC's 70 Bonneville Convertible with a Time Machine Resin coupe body. I painted it Testors Dark Cherry Mist lacquer and Tamiya White Primer top and interior. Glass was tinted with Tamiya Clear Blue. Thanks for looking.Al
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Love it! What a tank! But a good looking one. I'm almost detecting a little blue on the hood by the grille. This color looks pretty close to a color I have planned for a '67 Bonneville build called "Plum Mist". Very nice Al! Steve
IJ001 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Man, that's a lot of vehicle... Nice model, Al. Ian.
Ramfins59 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 One day build......!!!!!! Geeze.. I get the box opened and examine all the parts and maybe come up with half a plan in one day...!!! I don't know how the hell you do it Al...... Nice job though.

I don't know how the hell you do it Al...... Nice job though.Really!I stand in amazement too!It takes me an average of 3 days just to foil a kit!Of course, that's not continuously, but even if I could do it all in one sitting, it would take me at least 12 hours! Steve
peekay Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Beautiful barge!I well remember not liking the '70 Pontiacs when they were new (I was 20) but I love them now and you did your usual great job on this one.
Porscheman Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 Thanks guys. I've always been a fast builder, I just get into it and then I'm done.Al
mangodart Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Nice Pontiac, I remember when building my convertible that it wasn't an easy kit to work with to have something nice !!! Congrats
disabled modeler Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Very nice..! I am a big fan of the late 60s early 70s Bonnevilles I grew up with them...well done.
charlie8575 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Looks great, Al. About the only thing I'd do is paint the rear side-marker lenses. That color looks very nice on the car. I have the convertible I'll be building sometime. Charlie Larkin
realgone58 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Awesome build! How was the body? I've been thinking about getting one because the restorable kits are too $$$ for me.
Jmaracing Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Very nice model. My grandfather had one in the early 70s. It was brown and big.this brings back memories. Great job!!
