That looks great. I remember getting one of them on Christmas 1965. Spent the day building it, just to have my cousin come over and break it. It took a long time to get over that, but at least I was able to fix it.

I have one in the basement in a box that I built in 1977. I may get it out and restore it to the 1977 build if the paint polishes out.

Very nice!, love the color indeed the after market wheels look much better.

Monogram surely did a nice job on this big & simple kit back then, looks great 50 years later.

That looks really great Al!

I too love that shade of green for that year, and I also have that kit for many years now. I built one originally back in the early '80's, but a couple of moves damaged it and it ended up getting tossed unfortunately. The current kit I have I must have gotten it sometime in the late '90's and still haven't done anything with it. If I may ask, where did you get the redline tires, or did you paint those on? I like those wheels too...........may spring for a set if I come across 'em. ;)

That is very nice, I like the color as it is not one that is seen often. Nicely detailed, could have sworn I was looking at the real thing!

Thanks everyone. I had a lot of fun building this one. I wish Revell/Monogram would reissue more of these.

Al

First things first, that Vette is beautiful!  Stunning model!  Secondly, it looks like RoG is re-releasing this kit.  It was just posted on here today by Luc.
