Small update for my Raptor,

Working on the rollcage and interior, needs more attention.

Started on the chassis mods...still deciding how detailed to go.

Hood removed for the engine.

More parts to come this week in the mail I hope.

Awesome paint job Bruce!

Verbal updates are okay Don, as long as we get to see some or a picture of what you are starting with and a couple of photos throughout your build you'll be good.

shot some primer on this little Ebbro Renault Fourgonnette, been wanting to do something with this, so after having a re think, I'm in with this one. Plenty of time to think about engines, suspension ☺

Can't wait to see what you have cooking here Tim !?!:D

Darren, like the fourgonette project...

Mine,...still on paint,...had a relaxing (?) day with the airbrush, and booth....

And then it went.....

too much, too fast, too thin,..

So then it went...

And now, after many coats of Tamiya clears, and thinned Testors AZTEK, and a black sharpie<_<

Finally figured a proper mix for airbrush painting...and I gotta say,...

I am really diggin' this new airbrush,.....

oh,...and I switched over the dash

Cheers

Flared arches fitted. Just need to fill and finish the rear profile.Engine is going to be a 1275 mini race engine, rear mounted in a space frame. I wanted to keep it lightweight and as the original engine had 26bhp, fitting the 1275, gives me over 4 times the power over standard ?IMG_0128.thumb.JPG.5dced42b0f04d21187b3f

Darren,..that thing will fly..

Had a problem today,...

Jake couldn't remember which engine he was supposed to put in the truck........

I think he stopped painting,...just in time...:lol::lol:

Interesting subject Darren, look forward to this!

Diggin the 'Jake' dude Bruce and unusual paint scheme, about as 'odd' as mine :D!

I'm nearly done with mine, so I've got the rest of the year now to make changes or improvements

I'm going for two.

Decided on an Opel Blitz/unimog hybrid ☺ The Blitz is what I brought today and the Unimog is one I abandoned after the cab was trodden on....

OmG .....Jake Chrome plates the engine... there goes the budget, ..

And tells me we need about 100' of tube to complete the frame,...

Gotta move the port side oil tank again...geez..and cut out that plate, between the rails over the rear...this is getting fun... iddnit?

Thinking of this sorta rear

"Just a bunch of tubes and wires"' says Jake,"Won't take long atall"... some peoples kids.. yaknow?

Cheers everyone

I like that setup. I'm planning on converting my shocks to remote reservoir as well, but not the dual shock setup.

Some very unique builds all ready entered, I think I finally figured out something that I want to build I will go hunting through the parts tonight. Some very cool paint jobs Ray (helix) and Bruce (belugawrx) they have given me a few ideas.
