New #11 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Built from an original kit about 30 years ago. One of my first BMF applications. I even re-chromed the front bumper with it!
wayne swayze Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 You built that 30 years ago? Super nice job ! Nice foil work.
New #11 Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 You built that 30 years ago? Super nice job ! Nice foil work.Yes, when my hands were steady and my eyesight was sharp! I had not yet started polishing paint yet so that was straight out of a rattle can.
'70 Grande Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 What a beauty; I think its the finest looking '64 Galaxie build that I have seen in over 30 years of car modeling! Did you add clear lenses to those 4 headlights or treat the chrome somehow to make them look more realistic?
redneckrigger Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 That was the kit that had operating headlights, if I remember correctly. AWESOME build!
FordRodnKustom Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Very sharp build. i like seeing these legacy builds resurface. Well done.
CometMan Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Still a very nice looking build! Hopefully the old glue hasn't gotten too fragile!

Good thing about the screw bottom kits, you can take it apart to change the battery. And thank you all for the compliments. I'm happy to find a place where I can easily post photos. skymnky721 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Wow,,looks like you could turn the key and roll! Great job
Lunajammer Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I learned something new. Never heard of this kit. Didn't know there was a '64 with an opening hood.
