BVC500 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) Aoshima posted this photo on FB, but they haven't lifted the curtain yet and I haven't heard anyone speak to their releases at the show. Also, what does the placard "Exclusive for existing clients" mean? Edited January 29, 2016 by BVC500
niteowl7710 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) Some of us know, but your knowledge would be limited by the rapid interment of your body in a shallow grave. O.K. perhaps not, but I doubt any of us are going to burn our bridge of knowledge and talk before Aoshima is ready to go public.Basically they're showing off their stuff to distributors only until the Toy Fair opens to the "General Public" - as technically it's never open to the public per se. martinfan5 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Some of us know, but your knowledge would be limited by the rapid interment of your body in a shallow grave. Basically they're showing off their stuff to distributors only until the Toy Fair opens to the "General Public" - as technically it's never open to the public per se. We could tell each other what's behind the lace But in all seriousness, James is correct, there will be no bridge burning that leads to Aoshima , so we are just gonna have to wait. But in all seriousness x 2, while knowing what they have planned doesnst mean they told me a time table and the way things work, what I was told could of changed or who knows what could of happened in the 6 months now that have passed, so it really is just best to stay quiet for the mean time.
niteowl7710 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 But the lace black curtain is in the upper left of their display cabinet, which isn't in frame of the last photo of their display.
Junkman Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 That is correct. The curtain is never lifted for normal mortals.A rather strange business practice.
martinfan5 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I am wondering if the Diablo is behind the Curtain.
buildnething Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Thats certainly what it looks like to me Mike! Good Eye! Pagani Huyara!
gasman Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I think your right, first kit of a Pagani. Also notice the Japan only race ready GT86
Gt fan Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 The pagani looks like the resin kit from eighty one .
aurfalien Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Wow, Aoshima is cool.I have there high induction high grade Ferrari F189 car, man what a beauty. If that is indeed a Pagani, well I'ma B gettin 1!Dayam!
ferrarijoe Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 The pagani looks like the resin kit from eighty one . the factory 81 is a Zonda R. That looks like a Huayra in the background. I tried to pull it up on the 81 site ,but it's not on there anymore. I hope Aoshima does the Huayra lot cheaper than having to get Autoart ($300 +) or BBR ($500+).
aurfalien Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) If it's this, then yea, it's on like Donky Kong! Edited January 30, 2016 by aurfalien
martinfan5 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 I think your right, first kit of a Pagani. Also notice the Japan only race ready GT86 Just as an FYI, without saying to much, a race ready version of the GT86 is not planned, well, that was not one of the up coming version's I was told about, but of course, that doesnt mean anything.
aurfalien Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Any more updates on Aoshima? Hoping we get some juicy tidbits now that the toy fair is over..
niteowl7710 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Any more updates on Aoshima? Hoping we get some juicy tidbits now that the toy fair is over..I got all the tidbits you could handle, but as of yet they're not choosing to disclose any of it publicly. I can say that there are 3 new tool Supercars in the works. One you know about if you paid attention last year, one you know about because someone WASN'T paying attention to the background of a photo they were uploading to FB. The last one is a no brainer if you know their licensing that will probably be announced officially before the Shizouka show in May. There are other modified tooling kits to come as well.Right now priority is focused on getting the Sesto Elemento into production along with the Sambar Fire Truck, and R32 GT-R and RX-7 (Initial D Series) done before anything new is disclosed.
Matt Bacon Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 So that's the Huracan, Huayra, and something from McLaren? Maybe a 675LT or a a P1?bestest,M.
Mike Chernecki Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 The Diablo GT announced last year, hope we finally get a Huracan. But they could get more life out of the Aventador and release an Aventador J
Edsel-Dan Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I am curious about the Locomotive in the 1 pic. And the Van underneath it.
niteowl7710 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I am curious about the Locomotive in the 1 pic. And the Van underneath it. The train is a 1/45 item - http://hlj.com/product/AOS01000/RldThe van is a Toyota HiAce of which Aoshima makes more than a dozen variants ranging from bone factory stock to wild VIP designs. Curbside, they run $23-28 depending on the version from HLJ.So that's the Huracan, Huayra, and something from McLaren? Maybe a 675LT or a a P1?bestest,M.Negative Ghost Rider we have no McLarens on the radar at this time. Or well, not within the 3 new tools I'm talking about. Edited February 2, 2016 by niteowl7710
cmfowler Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 From what I have seen and read I'm guessing a Lamborghini Diablo and Huracan and the Pagani Huayra.
