Nytrozilla Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 The only explanation can be is that his Minions were the ones on the Oscars last night. They obviously rehearsed the routine for weeks.
Mooneyzs Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 The only explanation can be is that his Minions were the ones on the Oscars last night. They obviously rehearsed the routine for weeks. Maybe they drank a little too much Bubbly out there...lol
John Teresi Posted March 1, 2016 Author Posted March 1, 2016 Hello......thank you all so very much for the kind comments.....I really do appreciate them......Nitrozilla you hit the nail on the head......I gave the Minions the night off to go to the Oscars last night......so I don`t have much of an up-date......I worked on the carbs and made a Distributor.......I modified some "Pro Tech" Dominator carbs and used "Pro Tech" rubber fuel line, nut and bolt ends, throttle linkage ,spark plug wires and looms ......and I made some spark plug boots......I also modified some brake drums......thanks for looking.
blunc Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 excellent work on a very prominent part of this show rod.
Nytrozilla Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 ......so I don`t have much of an up-date......Except for the part where your detail blows away everybody on the planet.

John Teresi Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 Hello.....thank you all so very much for the kind comments......I really do apprecieate them.......I asked Eric to send me the paint formula he used to paint the frame, wheels and engine block......so I went and got some Dupont Sterling Grey effect made at the local automotive paint store......I got the wheels, frame and engine block painted and clear coated....I started to assemble the frame I still need to add a few more pieces.......I used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends on the frame and "Pro Tech" T` fittings......I sent my friend Ken Cornett some AMT slicks and he turned some groves on them with his lathe.......they turned out great Ken thanks........I got the wheels together and lightly weathered them and used "Pro Tech" nut and bolt ends for the lug nuts.......I also made some valve stems and I got the rear bumper finished and painted Alclad.........I also made some side emblems.......I will work on the engine tonight.....thanks for looking
