Looks good! I desperately need to do the same but I know that as soon as I do,I won't be able to find anything....

I swept the debris off of mine from doing a little scratchbuilding and sanding... but it will need a good cleaning soon.

May I ask why your storage drawers are labeled by color?

Color is random......I just like the contrast of a day-glo color and black Sharpie. I have a touch of color blindness so sharp contrast is a good thing!!! Thx

I meant what does the color mean written on the tag? but after I wrote that I got real close to the screen and realized it was your paint LOL

I just did pretty much the same thing down in my basement model area Dave.  Swept the floors, dusted off the workbench, swiffered away all the cobwebs and reorganized all my paints and tools.  Now I have to knuckle down and get building again.  Between the holidays, family visits, gift wrapping, the football playoffs and Super Bowl, I haven't been working on anything for months.

I've gotten in the habit of cleaning my bench every time I complete a project. During a project it's mass chaos because as I'm looking for parts for one thing I'll get distracted by something else, so I feel the need to reset after a build

For the first time I now have a model specific space, I am very much liking the layout, those plastic drawers are awesome, I use them for Bicycle parts(another hobby).

I hope to organise my desk a bit more with shelves etc when money allows.

looks Good...So does that Batmobile!  I also see a Box Car on the shelf...My second modeling hobby...

My first hobby!!! When I moved to So Cal in 1960 the kid next door built model cars.......We talk and visit each other often even though we are 3000 miles apart....more than a hobby!!! thx

Dave, that is an absolute perfect building area. Everything looks to be in arms reach and the lighting looks good too. Mine isn't to bad, definitely not perfect. I need to improve on it some more and I am loving those drawers of yours. Also, you have some really nice car's in the case on your bench. Thanks Dave for sharing this with us ,really cool subject.
