om617 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Got this one from a buddy on Facebook, and from the looks of it this have had a really rough life. It was missing original front bumper/grill/headlights,front suspension, original wheelcovers and tires, rear bumper and talights, lot`s of body damage and all the tips on the rear fenders where broken off,and gluemarks, sinkmarks, and of coarse big craters after the custom searchlights on top of front fenders. Been fiddle with this on and off for a year or so. Most of the parts i recovered is original parts besides the hubcaps (I have them but not plated yet) wich are 1964. Also i will replace the wonky doorhandles for more period correct ones. I tried install AC on this using some parts from here and there, and got period correct decals made for it. Anyway here are some pictures, and thanks for looking.

Jon Cole Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Tommy, that is one fine looking Cadillac! You did a remarkable save!
StevenGuthmiller Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Now that's nice! You did stellar work in saving a less than stellar body. What's not to love about a black Caddy!? My oh my, what boats they were! Steve

Eric Macleod Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Most impressive transformation. As has been said, this is a great color combination. My favorite in fact. Nice work on a real sows ear.
