Richard McClelland Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 My recently completed 1969 Chevrolet Nova. No claims made as to authenticity of paint colour or anything like that, but if I had one, she'd look something like this. Loved this Revell 'Muscle' kit though a few lessons have been learned and once this Impreza P2000 is completed I can see a 1968 Charger on the Horizon 1

How the perfect specimen looks in my mind's eye... the car I'd want to own. A while back I finished a Dodge Ramcharger to my liking... I brought it to a club meeting and a know it all swaggered up and said, "The grille wasn't black on that year." I replied, "I know, but if it was my truck it would." Done and over! mikemodeler Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Nicely detailed and very shiny paint! Like you, I build them the way I would want them to look if they were in my garage!
Davewilly Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Very nice. Reminds me of the one my grandma had...she bought it new. I believe My Aunt still has it......I might have to ask about it after seeing this..

Hubert Rollins Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Nice car- the great thing about modeling is being able to do it the way you want to. Besides, I'm sure they probably had a green color back then that was at least close to what you picked. Looks pretty authentic to me!
