(1954 to 1957) 1956 Powell Sport Wagon

Yes, it really was made out of the parts of other cars, and quite a lot of them were made.

This one has me stumped. Looks like a homemade truck made from assorted salvaged parts from several different manufacturers. Very interested to find out what it is and the history behind it.

I read somewhere that In the Soviet days, Russian people would remove wiper blades to keep them from being stolen.

During the Soviet Days I read many articles about this same subject . Overnight Owners removed : Hub Caps (no such thing as Wheel Covers) , Mirrors , Wipers , Taiillight lenses , Parking Light lenses , Antennas . Everything quickly and quietly removable to avoid "liberation" . Some Car Models the owners did remove Bumpers . Collision damage parts did not exist . Midnight Auto Suppliers flourished .. Thanx ..

It isn't the first time a car has been repeated. It won't be the last. Finding good contenders is hard!
