In web-speak, I always took it to be a kind of non-confrontational post-modifier or suffix, added to help ease the friction sometimes caused by informing a poster of something they might not know, or may have forgotten, especially when the post seems to be in error because of misinterpretation of facts, or missing relevant facts altogether.

In other words...   Image result for just sayin'   :D

Actually, these responses have clarified things. Thank you. I would have bet a paycheck that at least one response would include "Just sayin'". I was not disappointed. Seriously, thanks all for clarifying this admittedly trivial matter.

Personally, I'm a big fan of confrontational microaggressive post modifiers and suffixes, know what I'm sayin'?

In many respects I find the world more disappointing with each passing day. One of my futile interests is politics. I think I just found my problem!

The unfortunate side-effect of going through life with your eyes open and your brain in gear. :D

Another way to put it: "Anyone who isn't absolutely terrified doesn't understand the situation." B)

Oops, typo. :D

Don't they have an app for that yet?

I think they do. It's called "Spellcheck." Some versions even flag odd syntax and such. B)
