oldcarfan Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I just came from the C1 Models website http://www.c1-models.com and wonder if anyone can either yay or nay them? They have some really nice things. Are they dependable? I've not ordered from an out of the US company before. How is the order process? I didn't see an order from us tab.
Jhedir6 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 You're safe. Chris is a really good guy, and looks after his customers. I've purchased from him a couple times now and had no issues. When you order from his site just follow the checkout progression there's a page that has your name and shipping info on it and shipping choices. I live in Canada, and my order took about 10-12 days to get here and clear customs, which is pretty good from Europe, and Canada Customs is notoriously slow at processing items. Right now Chris is still in the US, he stayed for a week after NNL East so he's probably going to be a bit backed up with orders when he gets home.Hope this helps some.David
Zoom Zoom Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 No worries. Great products, great quality, great service, fast shipping.
oldcarfan Posted April 25, 2016 Author Posted April 25, 2016 Thanks, I'll have to look into it. It looks like some of the stuff is out of stock. Hope he'll have more!
martinfan5 Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Ive built about five of his transkits, Chris is , as they say in his neck of the woods, a heck of a bloke.
MeatMan Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I bought one set of wheels from them and they were really nice. Took a while to get over the pond so don't panic if it takes a little longer than a stateside order.
Kris Morgan Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I have seen most of Chris's stuff in person. Top notch quality. Great guy as well.
Exotics_Builder Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Product is great, service is greater. He will also work with you on PayPal, even though his site doesn't have that checkout option.
