Bluzboy66 Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 I love your work and if you could come to the CPMCC meeting, that would be awsome! Thanks for the invite. I plan to come to the May meet. The last meet I attended was the auction this past year. My son, Alex, and I came up with Mike Hemp. I scored a couple of nice kits and a hardbound "Chevrolet Small Block" book in the auction. Good time, good people. Hope to meet you at the next meeting. Mike
lordairgtar Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Awesome unmarked car. Very similar to our cars in Milwaukee.
peekay Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I love it when people trawl the archives and bring these beauties to our attention again. The idea of using the wound part of a guitar string to simulate the spring on the antenna has got to be the neatest and simplest way of doing this.
realgone58 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Awesome! I don't know how I missed this post until now.
charlie8575 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 About the only thing I could spot as off was the interior color. Fury Is had blue, tan or red interiors. That's besides the point, though. Very nice build on this, and great tip for the guitar strings. Charlie Larkin
disabled modeler Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Very nice clean work!...and people wonder why i love Johan kits
om617 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Starting to like 4doors more and more because of builds like this.
Harry P. Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Awesome! I don't know how I missed this post until now. Because this was posted in 2008, three years before you signed on as a member in 2011!
thatz4u Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Looking at the front seat, I noticed that you forgot something..
Jehan17 Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Nice clean style. I like it very much and the colour is bang on.
Dominik Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 who is grabbing those old threads up? THANK YOU for it! This is beautiful, really nice!
migace Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 gotta give these cars a second look sometimes. they deserve it!
English Jules Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 cool. im doing same sort of thing to the HH 70's Ford i have been working on for a while, slight dent and scrape. I built the Johan kit some years ago as LAPD, then found out they never used it. I would love to dig it out and strip the paint off
Bluzboy66 Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 Thanks guys. Appreciate the kind words. I'll be building the '70 Ford police cruiser in a similar style. Mike
unclescott58 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Just pulled my '68 Plymouth out of deep storage in the last few days. Time is coming to start my building of 5 different years of Minnesota Highway Patrol cars. When I buy the special Maroon paint, I'm going to paint all 5, basically at the same time. (Not exactly the same time. But one after another.) All 5 are now out together. I think it's time to get the paint. Scott Aho
