Rider Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Really beautiful build, you have done an outstanding job with all the little details. I like the header cut off plate feature you added, nice addition.
10thumbs Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Jason, this model is outstanding. You've really captured the simplicity of this nasty and simple car. Beautiful and correct detailing, it looks like it should look. I like!
DR JAY Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Thanks very much for all of the kind compliments--I really appreciate the input! Hopefully the Johan 62 Plymouth turns out as well
misterNNL Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 This is one of those designs that makes me think"if this was the best design that had...what in the check did they throw out?"
mangodart Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Very impressive !!!! All the details and the overhall look of the car !! I'm in love !!!!!
PARTSMARTY Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 THAT IS COOLER THAN PERFECT-NOTHING COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AND I;M A MOPAR FREAK-RIGHT ON !!!
echo Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Your build is so nice with all the details you added, you made an ugly duckling into a swan, very impressive.
W-409 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 WOW! That turned out very nice! I'm not a Mopar guy (Chevy Rules !), but this is one very fine looking car, one of the best Mopars of all time in my opinion. You did an amazing job detailing this old and pretty simple Jo-Han kit. I really like how that engine sits in there and very nice detailing finishes it off. Chassis is beautiful, too, those opened header flanges are a great addition! I'm going to build one of these as The Ramchargers' FX car once I order my kit from MCW along with couple of other bodies I need. Yours is a great inspiration for that one!
Cpt Tuttle Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 A real granny car until you lift the hood, nice!
DrKerry Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Oh yeah!!!!!!!! Giddy up, like it in that you've got the headers uncorked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would rip stuff up!!!!!
Smitty Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 You did a masterful job on this one Jay. Yours is the type of model that inspires me to do better. In fact I have one of these in my pile that I should get to work on. It's nice to see that they can really turn out so well in the right hands. Thanks for sharing this.
