carsntrucks4you Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 This model is based on the Speed City Resin Rambler Marlin kit. I hinged the front clip and scratch build the front axle and rollcage. I also modified the the firewall for set back Hemi. The engine is from Revell's Sox & Martin Hemi Cuda with a transmission out of Lindberg's Dodge 330. The '57 Olds rear axle, seat and wheel & tire combos are also from Speed City Resin. I'll use decals from Whoopiecat.
Sportabout Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Nice that you started this project. Front suspension looks great.
1972coronet Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Very nice ! It is great to see that some-one is building such an obscure race-car ! I grew up not too far from Bill Kraft Rambler , which was in Norwalk , California , on Firestone Boulevard .Here is another , lesser-known Rambler from Bill Kraft : http://jubileejeeps.org/327/418.htm
Intmd8r Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I'm really liking this! Excellent details and scratch building.
