Revell '40 Ford Standard

Here's my '40 Standard coupe, early '50's mild custom. Wheels/tires and rear axle are from the '48 Ford coupe and the fender skirts are from the Monogram '36 Ford coupe. The exhaust, from the mufflers back, is made from aluminum tubing. Paint is Tamiya. Thanks for looking!

Wow! That is one clean, sharp, crisp model! The paint work is flawless!

Not sure I'm on board with the colors you used on the chassis, but that's just personal preference.

Very nice... B)

Back in the day, who could afford chrome other than a few bolt on's?

You are correct, clean, sharp, crisp, WOW !;)

That's just awesome!!

Fantastic paint, and great taste on the custom mods.

The car looks unique as the owner wanted, but can be full stock again with no fuss. That's my kind of customizing, respecting the car.

Pretty much what I wanted to say. I like mild customs and this sure is a beauty!

Aron, what do the small rectangles on those Smithy mufflers represent ?

Those are muffler brackets. I overlooked this when I built the model, they probably would have looked better painted black.
