misterNNL Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Nicely dome tri five bowtie. My very first car was a '55 so I have a natural love for those done as well as yours is.Thanks for sharing.
rmvw guy Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Exceptionally nice photos, love the black and white. The '55 is awesome as is the diorama.
Rider Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Fantastic build and awesome colour combo, very rich looking.
Flesher Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 That thing is sexy! I have one of these in the closet but after just getting back into models I think I'll wait a bit for this one, seems a little challenging.
Ramfins59 Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 As has been said above... very nice work and the colors are great.
Tyler62990 Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 Thanks for all the very kind words guys! Always appreciatedThat's a cool '55. Nice stance and color combo. You say it was a nightmare. What were the issues you had?Mostly paint and my heavy handedness. The only problems with the kit itself are the engine has to be mounted perfectly to get the hood to close, the door handles, rearview mirror and those god forsaken two piece side mirrors have no locating pins/holes (great if you're going for the shaved look) or they're very faint, the bumpers are a real pain and the dash assembly gave me PTSD lol. It really is a good kit, but definitely not a throw together.

MeatMan Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 It looks like the hard work was well worth it. Very nice!!
James2 Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 (edited) Except for the weird angle of the inside rear view mirror, very nice!Perhaps his girl bumped it getting out!I like it just fine. Clean build shiny paint and the all important stance. The photos just enhance the over all look. Even the mirror! Edited June 4, 2016 by James2
