maltsr Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 This is an older build of mine, based on the Revell GT350H version. The engine was pirated from the AMT Mercury Comet Cyclone and the wheels are from the Saleen kit. Paint is Tamiya rattlecan, Mica Red stripes over Pearl White.
louie Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Yeah, the stripes going into the engine bay really work great. Fantastic job and really clean looking. Thanks. Jeff
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Nice clean Mustang. The Saleen wheels really work. A little foil would really make it pop. Nice job.
Harry P. Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Clean, for sure. But would really benefit from some foiling of the window trim to take away that "model" look. Also a bit more attention to detail, like painting the horns steel instead of just body color.
slusher Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Real sharp Mustang Paul. Great touch on the Merc engine...
Mercelo Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Beautiful little model Paul. The colors are very nice, and it looks super clean all around. Question for you....did you leave the stripes along the bottom off intentionally? Looks great either way, well done.

The stripes do run under the bumpers, if these are the ones you mean. You can see them on the chassis photo.
Mercelo Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Thanks Marcelo. The stripes do run under the bumpers, if these are the ones you mean. You can see them on the chassis photo. Actually, l meant the stripes that run along the bottom of the fender, door, and quarter panels!
maltsr Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 Actually, l meant the stripes that run along the bottom of the fender, door, and quarter panels! In that case, yes
Sixties Sam Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Very nice! I like the white with red color choice. I would have added foil on the window frames, but this is still a great build!Sam
Rider Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 That is one clean crisp looking Mustang, very nice building.
