Depends on the can/bottle

AMT's 60-65 Annual Ford & Chevy Pickups had the

ones under the Monogram Beer Wagon barrels in the tray

The 64 Galaxie was ONE kit that had the Long spout cans

in the bin next to the Pick up versions

I am betting some of the other Modified Dirt Race Annuals had them too

The red nascar can in that bin looks like either an Ertl piece out of the Diecast

Impala Kit (Petty Or Waltrip)

or from the Monogram Deluxe (Plus) kits with tool chests, driver, etc

As for Animals, the 59 Buick was one to have the rabbit

Anyone not wanting the Mini-Boxes, can send them to me!!

I will gladly pay postage for them too.

What kit or kits have the oil bottles and cans in it? Seen them on ebay for sale 13 for 24 dollars plus shipping and they was on a kit tree...

I have no idea which kits they came from. They came as part of the parts from e-bay. Don't ever remember buying a kit with those in it.

I just got a set that has car show stanchions, an easel, trophies and a mirror to put under the car.

Where did you get them?

Those Chrome parts were first in the 4 "Customizing" series kits 49 Mercury

50 Ford Convert

66 Wildcat & Thunderbird

they were also in later 'Prestiege' kits!!

Bumper Jack & base, engine display base,  plus tools might be from 49 Merc too

Not 100% sure on TV, Tape deck & Phone

Maybe 65 Lincoln??

Speaking of animals, I would kill for a decent police german shepherd or rottweiler that would scale to 1:24 or 1:25 and fit inside a station wagon or truck. All the ones I've seen look like they are all happy, tongues rolling out, etc..., and not fierce crime-busting canines.

I seem to remember the eBay listing said 66 Thunderbirds. I put the stanchions on my engine display stand but I can't get the "rope" to drape right. I'll have to try something else.Wow, that was an ordeal, it took three tries to get photobucket to uplaod it without jamming.

Try looking at model railroad stuff. What is it, G scale, that's close to 1/24-25?

Pat - try a small chain instead of rope for your stanchions. Will drape much better.

Or wet the thread really well and shape it. It should hold its shape after it drys.

That was going to be my next move.  Now it WILL be my next move.

Don't ignore foreign kits when looking for neat accessories.  e.g., this AOSHIMA 1/24 scale Subaru Sambar High Roof 4WD Microvan. It comes with all the stuff on the box art - set of SCUBA gear, a surfboard and a rubber raft in a roof rack.  It also contains some great van interior parts, like a TV set and stove.

This is a "kei" van, so it is tiny, even in 1/24 scale. I found one fairly cheap on eBay.

Here is a picture of the oil bottles. I have never located what kit there in...

My Texaco kit has the old paper style cans in a rack. Not sure where the others are from.
