50,s Ford custom ,UP DATE , PAINT IS ON ,

Started this yesterday , chopped 50 Ford coupe , cleaned up some of the body and added a 53 Ford grill cut down , frenhing the head lights , car will be a Lemon silk pearl color it is a folk art acrylic paint ,

Looks great, I love the body mods and the color is unconventional and dramatic.

So...did you just shoot Testors Wet Look clear (an oil-based product as far as I know) over acrylic paint?? I thought oil-over-acrylic generally resulted in disaster. It has in my experience.
