1972 Elcamino

I remember the new Chevelle SSs in the showroom in 1972. They never seemed to have a 454 just 350s and 402s. This kit is how I remember them This model combines the 1972 AMT Chevelle front clip and the ERTL 1968 Elcamino.

Plastikote lacquer from auto parts store that looked very close to a photo that I had, Clear over it later.

nice build....you used to see them every where in the 70's. My bubby's dad owned a metal fab shop and had one that was gold and a 454 as his company use car

Very, very nice indeed! I've wanted one of these for years. Even have a Jimmy Flintstone body, but have been afraid to try fitting the windows in that thing.....

It's not that bad to convert. just find an early ERTL 1972 CHevelle with the correct grille.

really nice, just a suggestion, add some black around the headlights and turn signals and you're good.

I think this is Sunflower Yellow. I am sure MCW can supply the  paint if not at the auto parts store.
