My first impulse is to say no, mainly for business reasons. I doubt the projected profit versus the cost of tooling would come out positive.

I like the "Imposter" and was fascinated with all the mods done to a stock Impala but I think this would be a "one and done" release which would get bought up by collectors as an investment and then resold later at "collector prices".

That was one of the Foose subjects that was part of that vote for new tools last year IIRC.  It is an interesting custom...too bad Foose went with that blandtasticly dull stock C6 Corvette dash, steering wheel, console, etc though... a custom exterior deserved a custom interior also, IMO..

I would love to have the kit because the car, in my opinion is a style that works for the most part.  I like it a lot.  That being said, if Revell was to kit this one, I believe it would be a financial disaster.  The upcoming Foose pickup will be highly profitable for Revell.  If Imposter was kitted I fear that future kit development would suffer for quite some time.  If I want an Imposter model bad enough, I'll figure out how to build it with available kits, parts, scratchbuilding, etc.  that's my 2 cents worth...

I would enjoy trying to replicate it more, than having a "B" grade version of it released,

we all know it would not be correct anyway, just too many mods for them to bother getting it right.

Agreed on the interior, but IIRC this was a commissioned build, so perhaps the interior choices were made by the customer.

The blunt face of the car really shows why not all cars look better with the bumper removed (*edit* or thinned/recessed to the extreme), IMHO. I also think it was suggested this subject would lose some sales appeal due to the presence of Revell's existing very nice '65 Impala kit.

Agreed. I think the front could be improved by locating the bumper forward just a bit, and lightening the mass under it with a shallower grille, and raising the bottom of the pan just a tad. Pulling the lower corners of the lower grille inboard could help lighten the flat-faced look somewhat too.

This car looks better when viewed from a standing-human perspective though. The low camera angles here don't sow it to best advantage.

I have seen sketches detailing where Chip made the major slice and dice modifications to the stock body so a really enterprising resin caster/master maker might just find themselves with a good seller on their hands.

Should Revell make it ? I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer that. My gut says there waiting to see how well the Foose Ford truck does before thinking about anything else Foose

But if they did make it,,,, I wouldn't  buy  it. IMO the thin bumpers ruins it

I forgot Revell already released this kit...way too close to even consider releaseing an all-new, accurate Imposter replica in 1/25 scale:
