Mike C Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) Well, here is another build of mine. It came out pretty nice but I hear the engine is terribly inaccurate but it looks nice anyway. I used some PE and BMF too. First here's some interior and engine WIP shots: The completed model: Edited June 29, 2016 by Mike C
72 Charger Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Very nice Belvedere . Its also nice to see you didn't describe it a model of Christine
Mike C Posted June 29, 2016 Author Posted June 29, 2016 Very nice Belvedere . Its also nice to see you didn't describe it a model of ChristineThanks. I never describe it as Christine, but others have.
Ramfins59 Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Great looking Plymouth Michael. I love the interior. Nice job.
carcrazy19 Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Nicely done. I always enjoy seeing this kit when its complete. One of my favorite 50's style cars. Good job.
Intmd8r Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Excellent detail work! You nailed the color/visual texture of the exhaust manifolds perfectly
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Sorry guys, but this car looks best in red and white. I guess It's all Stephen King's fault. The one I built IS a Christine model. Not being a fan of mopars, that was the only way for me to build one.
CometMan Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Very nice work! Other than a proper Fury, which is a dark beige with gold trim, the red and white combo does look best on those Plymouths!
Harry P. Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Very nice overall, and that interior is just beautiful. But the front bumper seems to be sagging somehow... the part that wraps around and runs along the front fender looks to be angled downward instead of going straight.
bbowser Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Very nice work. I think this kit gets a bad rap. I've read all about the wonky side trim and incorrect roofline, but it builds into a very nice model, as evidenced here.
StevenGuthmiller Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Very nice Michael!I especially like the interior.Where did the seat insert decals come from? Steve
Mike C Posted June 29, 2016 Author Posted June 29, 2016 Very nice Michael!I especially like the interior.Where did the seat insert decals come from? SteveThanks. They are from Scale Motorsports
StevenGuthmiller Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Thanks. They are from Scale MotorsportsInteresting. They must have some new ones I've not seen.I bought several patterns a couple of years ago & I don't remember seeing this one.The fit the Plymouth perfectly. Steve
Drake69 Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 That bumper can be problematic. If you don't hold it there for awhile to let the glue set, it'll tip forward and sag like that.Still love the car and the build. Great stuff!!!
darthsideous Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Very nice Michael!I especially like the interior.Where did the seat insert decals come from? Steveyes, the interior looks great, and I really like the seat inserts!
mikemopar70 Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Very nice Plymouth! It's really cleanly built, i like Christine!
