Michael F Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I´ve built this Mustang Ht several years ago. I ike the Gulf paintscheme very much. Filling and sanding of the extended fenderflares was a pain, but i think the result is satisfying. Kit is an old AMT, wheels from the partbox, all decals are printed on my Inkjet. The Hauler is a rebuilt diecast pickup. The ramp was scratchbuilt from sheet styrene. Thanks for looking! Michael
Drake69 Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Nice Gulf livery! And the wedge is just icing on the cake!
unclescott58 Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 I too like the Gulf color scheme. The two vehicles look great. Your wedge on the back of the truck looks very simular to the wedge MPC provided with several of their early 70's Chevrolet pickup truck kits.
Michael F Posted July 15, 2016 Author Posted July 15, 2016 Thank you very much for your kind comments on the Mustang, guys !!Paint is simple handicraft acrylic rattlecans from our local do diy store.
Davewilly Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Nice looking stang! and the paint scheme works well with it
Dann Tier Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Very nice build!! -I too Love the Gulf color scheme!
DeeCee Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 That looks TUFF!! Very TUFF in fact, and a great job on those flares, they really set it off i think.
Janne Herajärvi Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Very nice... I would like to make Gulf themed car also, but first i need to find good decals for one...
