Another one I recognize instantly. Had one once, and bought out a defunct dealership's stock of body and mechanical parts long after they had pulled out of the US market. Sold the parts on to a national owner's club.

I should have known this one as I was stationed next to the factory in Neckarsulm. They later assembled all the Porsche 924/944's I had and now is a gigantic Audi factory.

I wonder if the same designers worked on both since they were intro'd within a year of each other. It does look quite "Corvairish" so it makes you wonder.
