Clean build.  Did those wheels come with the kit?  Looks like they're a pretty good representation of ET-III's.  Don't think I've seen those before...

Yes, everything except the distributor was from the kit. I swapped the tires for older versions w/ the lettering. Thats the only other change I made.

sweet build!

LMG has a polishing kit from 1800 to 12000, liquid swirl remover and gloss polish. Worth every penny if you can find it... will make you paint smooth as glass.

boy, Jesse, that looks tough as nails all round,,,,terrific work there, probably the nicest build of BAD NEWS I've seen.....maybe take it to a contest entered in a rod or street beast  class, and it's gonna be BAD NEWS for your competition................the Ace....:P

Thanks, I didn't want to dive too far into polishing it. Too many edges in my opinion. I gave it a lick and a prayer and it turned out well. Plus, when I cleared it, I had to use 2 cans because they were both just about empty. Had just enough to put about 2 coats on it

Thanks. I really love Tom's designs and always thought they were cool seeing some of the older releases growing up. I wanted to do my favorites justice and build really nice versions of the box art cars. I do plan to take it with me to a few shows this fall.

I had a few hiccupa. The steering parts are fiddly and hard to place. My chassis was warped so it sits funny. And the hood tilt hinges are a real bear to install if you blended the valances in. Superglue is your friend in that case. I also had to slightly open up the holes in the wheels for them to go on after paint. Tilt nose doesn't quite line up with the body when shut but goes with a little force. Might help to also round off the bottom edges of the core support too which would help when the hood is flipped up.

I appreciate you letting me know:) Again, Great job!
