1959scudetto Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Very nice, Ray !!! it almost looks like it had polished aluminium body panels - so no painting does distract from the bare form - just great !!!
cobraman Posted August 13, 2016 Author Posted August 13, 2016 Thanks guys. I just wish this paint held up better.
Dann Tier Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 VERY cool looking!! -great job building! -saw a Cobra in a museum with a bare body like this. I agree with you on the Duplicolor Chrome paint. it is VERY fussy! the more you touch it, the worse it gets. I use to use it for a polished aluminum look, then I switched to Krylons version. if you let it set for a week, it seems to be a little tougher than the Duplicolor. I would imagine though, that if the climate it was being used in would effect that still. especially humidity. Anyways, fantastic build, Ray!!
cobraman Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 Thank you very much fellows. I may have to try that Krylon paint.
Janne Herajärvi Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Nice! That color suits well for this one..
