30 Ford

Hi every one..... I'm working on a 30 Ford..... I opened the doors and trunk.... also im using the 29 Ford engine.......

I added some mesh for detail........ I'm still working with the mesh.....

This is the Idea........

Update...... Gas tank and trunk.......

I pained the gas tank using a paint from AK Interactive Polished Aluminum and applied some decals that I cut it to separate the "Danger" word....... 

also I took the trunk door from the 32 Ford 5 windows and cut it to fit the 30 Ford and make some hinges.....

Love that gas tank! Very nice detailing.

The louvered trunk is going to look great, and shows off the partition/mesh very well.

Took me a minute to clue in that you've opened the doors too, awesome.

right now. But I have a '30 coupe going on

right now!!  Can I get away with doing two

Coupes in a row?  Hmmmmmm?

Great build with a lot of detail. I was interested in the screen mesh you used in the doors and the rear panel. Do you have any pictures on that part of your build ?

Thanks every one.... this are the picks for the doors. I needed to cut the doors panels to fit the doors.......

then i added some metal mesh to give some extra detail.......

Thanks every one...... this is an update......

I tried to simulate a wooden aircraft joystick..... but I finished with a pistol handle.....

i sealed with this product..... is used to fix the aircrafts canopies.... 

looks like a glass coat........

One of the things that I love of this kit is that brings the bomber seats.... and the decals sheet have the markings like the ones used in WWII aircraft..... so my idea is paint the model like a fighter plain..... P-51 Mustang.... I got the color from the military modeling and some details.... I finish the shifter.... but I finished with a pistol handle.....so the pilots used to carry one...... this is the finish shifter...

An update..... seat cushions..... 

I cut it 4 pices of black styrine an glued in sets of two.... then sand it to shape......

Sanding is finish.......

also I'm going to use the leather technique...... so i used some Klenex and the water, glue an dishwashing soap mixture.......

this is half of the job..... now painting and detailing........

Thanks everyone.......update..... the seats..... so I painted the chairs using the interior color for the P-51 Green Zinc Chromate.... and painted the cushions like worn leather (the light didnt help).....

I noticed that in the instructions the seats have a barr that is for reinforcing the seatbelt.... so I made a set....
